Indian Meadows Ride 2011

August 26-28, 2011

The weekend was hot but fun. Dan, Eileen and Aspen Taylor and Bev Stiger and Cheryl Bryant braved the wilderness for a great ride. There was a short ride Friday night through some burn area and then some very nice views. Saturday was up to Webb Lake, lunch at the cabin there, then on to Hart Lake to watch the Great Falls girls soccer team catch frogs, squeal about leeches in the water and the water temp, which was cold.

There was a contract crew working on replacing most of the wooden walkways across some of the swampy bogs and they were doing a very nice job. Had a long string of pack mules to carry the heavy boards. They cut the side timbers at the site. Sure made the trail a lot nicer.
